How The Cozy Whisk began
I've been baking since I was maybe 16 or 17 years old. From the first successful thing I’ve baked I was hooked on baking. When I worked as a cake decorator I enjoyed learning new techniques on how to decorate. My all time favorite thing is having my house smell like what ever I’m baking.The Cozy Whisk started as a way to share that warmth with my neighbors here in Manning and Sumter. What began as an idea I had pondered on for a while finally turned into something I couldn't stop — and honestly didn't want to.Today I bake everything from scratch, in small batches, using real butter, fresh eggs, and ingredients I'd be happy to eat myself. No shortcuts, no mystery additives — just honest, homemade baking the way it was always meant to be.
My baking philosophy
Small batches only
I never bake more than I can give proper attention to. Small batches mean fresher goods and more care in every step.
Real ingredients
Butter, not shortening. Real vanilla, not imitation. If I wouldn't serve it to my family, it doesn't leave my kitchen.
Made for neighbors
Manning is a small town and I love that. I also bake for people in Sumter and know a few customers by name.
